Chatbot created by WU that automatically responds to questions. The chatbot is created with the AIOS tool from Leftshift One. It can also access answers stored in Typo3 or Confluence and is active on different subpages of the WU website. Depending on the language of the website, the chatbot answers in German or English.
Route planning system that helps users find their way around the campus and find the desired locations. In addition to information on lecture halls and seminar rooms, points of interest (e.g. service and medical facilities) are displayed. Office space of employees can also be searched. The system also makes it possible to find the fastest route between two locations on campus.
Web-based player software used by digital signage screens to play and display content. Users can create playlists/spots in Grassfish (e.g. news playlists, website spots) and display them on several screens on campus. Content from the Typo3 CMS can also be output via Grassfish in the form of RSS feeds. A distinction is made between general, department and student information.
The application Panoroom enables virtual tours of the WU campus and a 360-degree view of central "points of interest" across the entire campus.
The recorded files are VR ready.
The virtual tours and info points are integrated on WU's website via iFrame and allow website users to visit f.ex. the library, the student lounges or event locations. The virtual tours are also integrated into Google Maps.
