1Password is an online password management service developed by the Canadian company AgileBits Inc., based in Toronto. The application allows users to store their passwords, software licenses, and other sensitive information in an encrypted data vault, secured by a PBKDF2-driven master password (hence the name), and maintained and synchronized on the company's server for a monthly fee (web hosting). The data vault can be integrated into the browser via a plugin and accessed through a mobile app or as a web application in the browser.
The operating system, BIOS settings and MS Office are installed on workstations under central management (ConfigMgr and Intune). Security settings (e.g. program execution prevention) are also rolled out. The Software Center and Intune provided by ConfigMgr can be used to subsequently install user-provided application programs. Core Services procures the necessary hardware (e.g. notebook, monitor, keyboard, docking station, camera, headset, cable).
Provision of the computer workstations in the PC labs and installation of the software required for teaching. There is one multifunctional device each in the LC and TC on which students can print and scan. Virtual machines (VMware Horizon) are also available for online courses.
Possibility for users to print electronic documents via multifunction printers (direct print or secure print) and to copy paper templates. Scanning and sending as email is also possible.
